The Mathematical Classroom, Graduate School/Faculty of Engineering Sciences, Osaka University

In the mathematical classroom, we are conducting education and research on mathematical science that tries to approach reality through the development and analysis of mathematical models that express phenomena.

The undergraduate mathematical science course consists of three major courses: mathematical models, statistical mathematics, and mathematical metric finance. In graduate school, mathematical models and statistics belong to the area of mathematical science, and mathematical metric finance belongs to the area of social system mathematics.

  • On Saturday, May 1, 2021, it was decided to hold a joint briefing session on the Department of Systems Innovation, Graduate School of Fundamental Engineering, Mathematical Sciences and Social Systems Mathematical Areas online. Details will be announced at a later date.

  • For the master's program entrance examination to be held in August 2021, it is necessary to submit proof of English proficiency (original and one copy) at the time of application.
